About Us

C. Aubrey Maccubbin was born and raised here in Williamsburg, Virginia. Born to Robert Maccubbin and Martha Hamilton-Phillips, both academics and William and Mary professors, Aubrey learned the benefit of doing hard work, having perseverance, and attention to detail. During his time at Bruton High School, he debated attending college. After some time he decided to attend Thomas Nelson Community College, but it was not the type of education he had in mind. 

 

Shortly after, he began to work with a reputable remodeling company in Williamsburg, falling in love with the types of improvement projects he was tasked with. The joy of helping homeowners fall back in love with their space was what he wanted to bring to the table as a career. Tile work was where he spent most of his focus, embracing bathroom remodels. In 2019 he decided to go off on his own and establish Maccubbin Services, LLC. Currently he has over 22 years working in residential remodeling. 

 

Maccubbin Services values honesty, integrity, quality work, and mostly, family. Married in 2018, Aubrey and his wife, Leah, have 3 beautiful children together, Alexander, Aurelia, and Arabella. Leah has a career in the medical field. We currently care for our aging mother in York County, while still enjoying our hobbies; the outdoors, traveling, history, and our pets.
